Christine’s story has always been about people, places, and the joy of discovering something with a story to tell.

Her love of finding treasures began as a little girl, when she would spend Saturdays at garage sales and thrift stores with her Grandma June. Together, they searched for those special pieces—the ones that made you stop, look twice, and wonder about their history. Christine still treasures some of those early finds in her own home, and the dream of one day opening a shop of her own was born.

Creativity was part of everyday life, too. Her mom, Kari, was an art major, and there was almost always a project underway at home—from decorating and creating to sewing clothes for all four of her children. Christine still remembers coming home from school one day to find her mom applying faux brick to their kitchen walls. That same spirit of imagination and possibility has stayed with Christine ever since.

Over the years, Christine has designed and renovated five homes, consulted on countless projects, studied interior design, and sold treasures at antique flea markets throughout Wisconsin. Along the way, her career in Human Resources—and her background in law—gave her an even deeper appreciation for people, relationships, and the stories behind what we value.

After 27 years in Human Resources, Christine and her husband, Jon, decided it was time to turn a long-held dream into something real. Together, they purchased a beautiful heritage building in Brookfield and opened The Find—a place where old and new, craftsmanship and character, and people and stories could come together.

Today, Christine brings all of these experiences with her. She loves creating a space that feels welcoming and personal, where you can wander, discover something unexpected, and perhaps find a piece that feels like it was meant for you.
